Gods Architect
About
I was not formally trained in architecture. My education came from the earth, from my hands, from building.
At thirteen, I was working alongside my father in the Australian outback, hammer in hand, learning the grit of construction before I even finished school. At fifteen, I left the classroom for a furniture-making apprenticeship — shaping wood taught me patience, precision, and the beauty of craft.
From there, I built across the world — Australia, UK, Canada, the United States — learning by doing, one project at a time. I have held building licenses in three countries and have designed, developed, and constructed homes that stand as both sanctuaries and fortresses.
I taught myself architecture not through textbooks, but through decades of hands-on creation. Every line I draw, every material I choose, comes from lived experience. I do not separate design from construction, or vision from execution. To me, architecture is not theory — it is embodiment.
My philosophy is simple: create works that last centuries, not decades. I draw inspiration from castles, temples, and ancient structures that still stand, built not for fashion but for forever. Now each project I create must protect, nurture, and elevate those within it. Strength is nothing without serenity; brutality must meet vitality.
My work reimagines concrete as a living, velvet-like surface. It weaves bleached ash wood, stone, and light into spaces that are both powerful and peaceful. Each home is a living piece of art — a singular creation, born from one vision, one hand, one relentless pursuit of permanence.
I am Kris Halliday. Some call me God’s Architect. My mission is to create not just homes, but legacies — timeless masterpieces that will stand long after we are gone.
